Social Butterfly Counseling is committed to protecting our clients, staff, families, and communities, and preventing the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and other public health crises. As such, we are taking the following precautions:

 

**Updated March 2022- In March 2020- ALL sessions were conducted via Telehealth. 

Since October 2021- Our team has provided a hybrid approach to therapy sessions offering a combination of Telehealth and in office sessions. Sessions are tailored to meet your clinical needs.

• Office seating in the waiting room and in therapy rooms have been arranged for appropriate physical distancing of 6+ feet apart.

• All clinicians, clients, and staff have the options to wear masks (In accordance with CDC guidelines).

• All clinicians maintain safe distancing of 6+ feet apart.

• Restroom soap dispensers are maintained and everyone is encouraged to wash their hands.

• Hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol is available in the therapy rooms, the waiting room, and at the reception counter.

• Sessions are scheduled at specific intervals to minimize the number of people in the waiting room.

• Maintenance repairs are scheduled for times clients will not be present. 

• When needed, we may ask that clients wait in their cars or outside until we confirm they may enter the office for their appointment.

• Credit card pads, pens and other areas that are commonly touched are thoroughly sanitized after each use.

• Tissues and trash bins are easily accessible. Trash is disposed of on a frequent basis.

• Therapy rooms are wiped down with disinfectant between client sessions.

• All common areas are thoroughly disinfected at the end of each day.

 

Additional precautions may be added as needed based on local, state, or federal guidelines for COVID-19 or any other public health crisis.
